Sightseeing

Aurangabad is rich in historic sites and has already made it to the world heritage list. 

Our beautiful location allows you to travel to most of the sites within a matter of minutes. 

The famous Daultabad fort is located just 1km from our property and is accissible on foot. Similarly Ellora is just a 10minute drive away.

Moreover Hiranya is surrounded by and adjoins various other historical monuments, lakes, tombs etc all of which can be seen from the property and accessible by foot. 

Some of the other sightseeing destinations around Aurangabad are mentioned below. We provide tour packages for all the below sightseeing destinations along with guide/translator if needed. Our guest alos have the option of carry pre-packed meals/breakfast shall they choose to do so.

The largest rock cut temple monastery in the world. Also a UNESCO heritage site. Some caves are as old as 600CE

Buddhist cave complex which is also a UNESCO World Heritage site. The caves were hidden and were discovered only 200 years ago.

One of the 12 Jyotirlinga mentioned in the Shiva Purana, a hindu book which was written in the 10th century CE. The temple is equally old.
