Romance is not a designed feature at Hiranya Resort. It emerges organically from the setting — the way the evening light turns the lake to copper, the langur mother nursing her infant in the mango tree at dusk, the silence that falls when the last guest finishes dinner and the only sound is water and crickets and the occasional call of a nightjar.
THE BEST EXPERIENCES FOR COUPLES:
CANDLELIGHT DINNER SETUP: Our restaurant team can arrange a private lakeside dining setup for couples — table for two, candles, the works, separate from the main restaurant dining area. This should be arranged at check-in. The menu for the evening is discussed with guests in advance and can include a custom selection from our kitchen.
SUNRISE PHOTOGRAPHY: The combination of the fort, the lake, and the morning light creates genuinely spectacular conditions for couple photography. Our staff can advise on the best spots and timings for self-portraits.
BONFIRE FOR TWO: On quiet evenings, we can set up a private bonfire away from the main campfire area for couples who want the atmosphere without the group setting.
PRE-WEDDING PHOTOSHOOT: Hiranya's combination of heritage backdrop (Daultabad Fort above), natural landscape (the lake and forest), and resort facilities (the pool, the garden paths, the waterfall) makes it an outstanding location for pre-wedding shoots. Our photoshoot package includes meals for the couple and photography team, and use of the property for the day.
WHAT TO BRING: Comfortable walking shoes for the fort and trail. Light layers for cooler evenings from October onwards. Nothing more complicated than that. The resort will handle everything else.
